The Blues Radio Series hosted by Keb’ Mo’ was produced by the Experience Music Project and Ben Manilla Productions for the presenting station WGBH in Boston with major support coming from Volkswagen. This 13-part series was created as part of the Year of the Blues and provides a wonderful history of the Blues with both music and incredible narrative and interviews.

  3. die Sendung landet in der Playliste von MediaMonkey
  4. rechte Maustaste über der Show drücken und ganz unten “Eigenschaften” wählen
  5. gleich in der ersten Zeile steht der Dateipfad: http://www.blues.org/mp3/radio01.mp3
  6. kopieren – wird bei mir dann sofort an meinen Download-Manager übergeben,
  7. der die Sendung auf der Festplatte speichert,
  8. von wo ich sie auf meinen Archos 504 kopiere

The Blues Report

The Blues Report bemüht sich, “The Internet’s #1 Source For Blues Music News” zu sein. Ein hehres Ziel. Ob es auch erreicht wird, stellen Sie am besten selbst fest. Blues-Fans werden neue Blues-CDs vorgestellt und diverse Blues-Podcasts darf man auch kostenlos runterladen, hier nur zwei Beispiele: SA Roots and Blues 124 und The Roadhouse 126 – Ohren auf und rein damit!

So weit, so gut. Was aber schlecht ist: The Blues Report hat keine Suchfunktion. Form und Funktion klaffen hier weit auseinander. Die Funktion ist das eine: die Blues-News sind zweifellos gut, aber die Form muß auch stimmen: die Präsentation der News läßt leider zu wünschen übrig. Wir wünschen uns dringend eine Suchfunktion wie bei Friday Night Blues. Wer will schon in Zeitlupe Seite für Seite durchblättern, wenn er etwas schnell finden will?
